MeDoGood believes in our military troops and the sacrifice they make every day for our freedom. We invite you to show our Wounded Warriors at Walter Reed and Brooke Army Medical Centers how much we appreciate their sacrifice! There are approximately 1,100 of our heroes at these two hospitals. It would be wonderful if we could get a shirt and card to each and every one of the soldiers. WE CAN do this!!

I welcome you, your family and friends to take part in this wonderful effort!  Over 100 HERO shirts have been sent to Walter Reed and BAMC already!!  But the need is not over...more wounded warriors arrive at these hospitals everyday, and donations drop off dramatically after the holidays.  So, it would be great if we could keep sending this small token of our appreciation throughout the year!  With each shirt you order for a soldier, a Thank You card telling them that they are truly our heroes will accompany each shirt!!

The HERO Shirts are only $10! (MeDoGood will pay for shipping and handling and the Thank You cards).

One shirt and one card will be given to each wounded soldier returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and the soldiers that are still receiving ongoing treatment for injuries suffered while in battle. I've talked to the Red Cross and Gift Coordinators and what I've been told is this:  Everyday, local volunteers fill up their carts with donations from people like you and me, stroll down the halls, going from room to room...to talk with, spend time with, sit with, and to simply "be there" for each soldier.  Rochelle at Brooke AMC actually told me that the soldiers anticipate getting something from "us"...the ones they serve.  Just imagine if it was your son or daughter in one of those hospitals...and how much it would mean to receive ANY kind of gift from a complete stranger!!  There is nothing more powerful than that!!
